Thalapathy Vijay reportedly left for his film shoot.

One of the fans recognised the actor and screamed his name repeatedly.

Thalapathy Vijay, after the massive success of Leo, is currently anticipating the release of his film titled The Greatest Of All Time. To complete one of the schedules of this film, he recently left for Dubai. One of his videos leaving for the country has been shared on X. The video shows him wearing a shirt and covering his face with a face mask. One of the fans recognised the actor and screamed his name repeatedly, even calling him Vijay Anna, but he didn’t pay any heed to the fan. The fan, however, didn’t feel demotivated due to this. She said to the media that it doesn’t matter if the actor didn’t bother to look back at her. She said that he would win the election and become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Thalapathy Vijay recently entered politics with the launch of his political party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) some time back. Thalapathy (meaning commander in Tamil) Vijay, who is at the zenith of his acting career, joined the long list of South Indian actors who floated their political parties. After taking the political plunge, the 49-year-old actor expressed gratitude towards fans for their support and encouragement and said TVK would contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu State Assembly elections.

After announcing his decision to contest the elections, Thalapathy Vijay also gave his first political opinion on the Citizenship Amendment Act. He said, “It is not acceptable to implement any law like the Indian Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) in an environment where all citizens of the country live with social harmony,” a rough translation of his statement, which was released in Tamil.

Thalapathy Vijay also urged the Tamil Nadu government to ensure that the law does not get implemented in the southern state. The statement also added that the leaders should ensure that this law does not get implemented in Tamil Nadu.

As per the reports, after GOAT, Thalapathy Vijay will make an appearance in one more film before bidding farewell to his acting career to focus fully on politics.
