Malayalam cinema star Unni Mukundan is preparing for several projects at the moment, which also includes Marco. As per the latest updates on the project, the Hindi rights of the film are sold for a record amount.

On May 3, Unni Mukundan’s latest film venture Marco went on floors in the city of Munnar, Kerala. The reports state that it has been sold for a record-breaking amount for its Hindi rights. It has reportedly been sold for a whopping Rs 5 crore for the language. This makes it a career-high for Unni Mukundan, the reports stated further.

Marco is being said to be a sequel to the 2019 hit, Mikhael. The project is expected to be a pan-India film, which will also be released in Telugu. It is being made under the direction of Haneef Adeni and will feature Unni Mukundan in the role of a gangster. The film is being produced by Shareef Muhammed and Abdul Gadhaf under the banner of Cubes International and Unni Mukundan Films. While the film’s music is going to be handled by Ravi Basrur.

The stunts in Marco are going to be done by Kalai Kingson, Stunt Silva and Felix. The cinematography in the film will be under Chandru Selvaraj while Shameer Muhammad will do the editing. As per reports, the cast of the film includes names like Siddique, Jagadeesh and Anson Paul along with a name from Bollywood and some new names.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, the film’s lead Unni Mukundan shared exclusive photos from the launch event of the film. The images show the project’s crew posing for the cameras as they launch the film with a clapper. The post is captioned, “#Marco A film by Haneef Adeni.
