Recently, Kailash Kher performed LIVE at Phoenix Market City, Whitefield in Bengaluru on April 27. The music composer and singer, known for his unique style – a combination of Indian folk and Sufi music took the Bengaluru audience on a musical journey through some of his biggest hits like Chaand Sifaarish, Allah Ke Bande and Teri Deewani, among others. The ticket was priced at Rs 1,499 per person.

Kailash Kher started his career by singing in commercials for major brands such as Coca-Cola, Citibank, Pepsi, IPL and Honda Motor Cycles. Kailash Kher was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2017. He has received two Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer: one for the Hindi film Fanaa (2006) and one for the Telugu film Mirchi (2013), as well as several other nominations.

Kailash Kher had to struggle to get a chance in Bollywood. He got an opportunity to sing a song for the film Andaaz. In this film, his song Rabba Ishq Na Hove became popular. His song “Allah ke Bande” from the obscure film Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II became very popular and this song made him a popular singing star in Bollywood. With his powerful voice and unique musical style, Kailash Kher has established himself as one of India’s most popular playback singers.
