There have been innumerable films based on Lord Ram in the Indian cinema. There have been many commercial movies and TV soaps based on mythology. It is actor Rishi’s Ramana Avatara that is the buzz of the town in the south right now. The teaser, song and promotional videos have raised the expectations of the audience already. Now, to create more hype, the makers have launched the trailer of the film at MM Legacy, Bengaluru. Ramana Avatara was first announced in November 2018 and has been in the works for quite many years. Initially, Rishi, Danish Sait and Raj B Shetty were finalised for the roles. There was a change of cast with Rishi keeping his role. The film further faced delays because of the pandemic and finally is gearing up for its theatrical release on May 10. The trailer has received love and appreciation.

As soon as the trailer was released, fans took to the comment section to state share their opinions and shower the team with love. A user commented, “Trailer is a funny ride. Ramana Avatara is touted to be an entertaining comedy with rib-tickling humour. It hints at Manish Rishi portraying the role of Rama, who wants to stop people migrating from his hometown. Along with glimpses of romance, it will also show kidnapping and what Rama has to do next makes for the plot of the film. The highly-dramatical plot is laced with situational comedy which will make it a mass entertainer.

The Vikas Pampathi directorial features Rishi, Pranitha Subhash and Shubra Aiyappa in the main role alongside Arun Sagar and many others in supporting roles. It is produced by Amrej Suryavanshi under the banner of Star Fab Production.
