Shah Rukh Khan and his son AbRam joined Rinku Singh along with other players of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) during their training session on Sunday. In videos surfaced online, SRK and AbRam were seen showing off their cricketing skills as they prepared for the KKR to face DC (Delhi Capitals) at the Eden Ground in Kolkata. In a video shared online, SRK was seen flaunting his batting skills. Sporting the KKR jersey, the Jawan star was seen hitting a few balls.

In another video, AbRam was seen bowling a yorker to Rinku Singh. The little one had everyone fielding around him as he bowled for Rinku. The ace cricketer tactfully defended himself. Watch the videos below:

KKR will face DC on Monday. This will mark their sixth match in their home ground. So far, the team has lost two of the five matches that have been played at the ground this year. In the last match, which took place on Friday in Kolkata, KKR put up a 200+ score for Punjab Kings but couldn’t defend it. Despite the loss, KKR stands on the second spot of the points table.

Meanwhile, SRK has been showing his support to KKR by attending almost all their matches this season. He has also been motivating his team inside the dressing room. After one of the initial matches, Shah Rukh addressed the team and said, “It’s always good to see when we’re playing like a unit. and my request to everybody — senior players and the international players, you have a lot of young kids in the team, take them along. Let them know about your experience. Make sure they grow into great cricketers like what the seniors are and the international players are. All the young kids, thank you so much.”

After losing one of the matches, Shah Rukh said, “There are days in our lives, in sports especially, when we don’t deserve to lose. And there are days also when we don’t deserve to win. But days are like that, which turns things around. I think today we didn’t deserve to lose. All of us played extremely well. We have to be very, very proud of ourselves. Please don’t feel sad or down. Feel as happy as we feel whenever we come to the changing room and we are on a high so maintain the high.”

“The main thing is the energy in all of us. I think we have great energy on the field, we have lovely energy here and personally also, everybody is bonding together. So please continue so. All the best. Honestly, it is a very proud day, the way we all played. I think all of us, I won’t even take individual names, that’s been taken. GG (Gautam Gambhir), don’t feel down. We would all be bouncing back. It’s God’s plan for today,” SRK added.
