Two rare items recovered from Titanic — a violin bag and a gold pocket watch, were up for auction in Wiltshire, England, on April 27. The bag has the initials ‘W.H.H.’ and belonged to the Titanic’s bandmaster, Wallace Hartley. According to Titanic survivors, Hartley led the band to play music as the RMS Titanic sank in April of 1912. The gold pocket watch belonged to John Jacob Astor, reportedly one of the world’s richest men at the time. Watch the video for more.
